Without a doubt, the best place to eat in Lincoln City. Food was well prepared and equally presented. Small dining room, so reservations will help your experience. Don't expect to walk in on a weekend and get a table quickly.... that, alone, speaks volumes on the reputation. Proprietor and Executive Chef are a combination that will bring us back next time we are in town. If you like wine, bring your reading glasses.... a tremendous wine list!! Tell your friends, it is worth the wait and the tab at the end of the evening!
In the 30 year of marriage we have never experienced such a great dinner and evening. My wife had crab cakes and I had Tuna Tartare. We have had this in may restaurants over the year but never experieced such a great taste and texture. We then had the Halibut and the sea scallops. Again the Haibut was perfect, tender, flavorful, and moist. the flavor in the sauce was buttery and at the same time the fruit flavor came thru. We finished off with the Creme Brulee, creamy and again perfect. I had the cobbler with home made IceCream. The freshished fruit I every had. An incretaible evening.
My husband and I luckily stopped here on our way up the west coast.
We had a most fabulous lunch: Kobe beef burger with stilton for him, fresh fish soup and salad for me. The dishes were delicious and very well prepared. We shared a delightful and sinful panna cotta for dessert. We smiled all the way to Cannon Beach. My husband had to call his friend to tell him that we should have our next dinner club meeting there - and we live in Tennessee!
The views are delightful. The restaurant is classy without being stuffy. The service was attentive and profession, yet friendly.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, anytime.
exellent scenery. the bar offers cheap eats. i love their sliders and dessert. Theri dessert offers a choclate browine like thing with a cube of passion firut flavored friut on top. sliders are 8 or 9.
Excellent place to go! It is expensive, but well worth the money. My husband and I got engaged there, and it was so romantic! Very attentive staff, the food was very fresh and well cooked and seasoned. Best place to go for a romantic dinner for two. Cost us about $120 with champagne.
Very expensive but worth it for a special occasion. You are pampered from the moment you enter. We tried rack of lamb and breast of duck and both were delightfully prepared. The scallops appetizer with mushroom demi glace was out of this world. The entire experience was delightful. Plan on at least $100 for two without wine.
