My first experience with cold $43 lasagna, that took an hour. On the other hand the bread was warm. The waiter took our uneaten date night food back and didn't say a word. Go to Mazzi's on Amazon, even Olive Garden. Save yourself the embarrassment of dining here. Go Ducks.

The best Italian in Eugene

The atmosphere was really relaxing and unique. The food was really great expecially the caramel drizzled cheesecake.

I look forward to dining at Ambrosia, the food is always off the charts and the service is supreme.

The best thing at Amrosia are their servers, their desserts, and their bar. The servers, especially the bartenders, will always try their best to cater do your desires. They are very patient, polite, knowledgeable, and eager to create a great experience for you at their place. I always have a difficult time picking out a drink or deciding on an entree, but the Ambrosia servers always know just what to recommend and help me pick out the best match for me. Their bar is very tasteful and it is not the place where you will get hit on by rude strangers. And their desserts....top of the notch! Their food menu is sort of limited, but every item is extremely exquisite, albeit pricey. I recommend their fresh fish catch of the day! Their lighting also makes for a spectacular atmosphere and a great feel. I will always pick Ambrosia for a good, clean fun night out in town!

Ambrosia makes my bottom 10 list for restaurants to stay away from in Eugene-Springfield. My pasta was served lukewarm and with an attitude; matched with by a stale dessert, this made for a forgettable evening out with my husband.

Our organization was looking for a restaurant to celebrate the holiday season, and decided on Ambrosia - mainly because of the central downtown location and the fact they touted their ability to serve larger groups. When booking the event for our group, we were told that there wouldn't be a problem with several special requests we had. SURPRISE! When making payment after our dinner, we were informed by the (very rude) owner that he couldn't honor agreements made by subordinates. WARNING: DON'T MAKE A GROUP BOOKING AT THIS RESTAURANT WITHOUT GETTING EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE THE EVENT (AND MAKE SURE WHOEVER SIGNS OFF ON THE AGREEMENT HAS THE AUTHORITY)!! As a side note, the service was sub-par (even though the waiters knew they were receiving a standard group tip of 20%!), and the food was luke warm; at least the beer selection was decent. There are many better establishments downtown that know how to treat customers with a bit more respect and appreciation than this eatery.

Never again - tried this restaurant three times (yep, I know, should have learned the first time ... shame on me!). Management turned one of our group dinners into a real disaster with poor service and food (to say nothing of an attitude that reeked about as bad as the cold pasta).
