I enjoyed my dinners here. The food is tasty and plentiful. I would definitly go back for dinner. I wasn't as pleased with the lunch buffet. It didn't have what I really like the one time I went. (I can't say if they change it or not). What they did have was good, however.
I find that the best buffet time to go is just before the lunch crowd arrives. Evenings are for a more intimate experience in fine dining. This is a place where I go to feel pampered and special each time I visit Salem.
The Indian Palace in downtown Salem is one of the best buffet restaurants in town. The restaurant has a lot of nice friendly service and a great atmosphere. The buffet could use more of a selection, but the low prices make up for it, and you can also order off the menu. The Indian palace has great food for great prices.
Great restaurant for the price. Usually not very busy, avoid weekend evenings. You may have to walk several blocks because there is no parking lot. It is street parking on one of the more popular streets. The food is excellent and you should try the chai tea.
