I've been many times. Some good, some terrible. Ordered calzone - the sauce was too salty, like sardines (it was a meat lover's type), the crust was tough so much that the corners couldn't be eaten at all. The elderly server never smiled and never offered any refills on drinks, or asked if we wanted coffee or dessert after our meal. She didn't ever return to pick up the check.
Another visit I ordered chicken Caesar salad and water with lemon. I got the best salad ever with lightly seasoned chicken breast slices, fresh grated Romano cheese, and a wonderful Caesar dressing on the side (as requested). Our server was gracious, accommodating and met our every need without being intrusive. I guess it depends on who's cooking and who's serving. The desserts are wonderful so save room or just go for the dessert alone.
Terrible!!The steak was $30.....it was tough, overcooked, and had no flavor. Lamb was not good. The fish was just ok. The service was HORRIBLE. We had a table of 5 and our meal was over $200. For that kind of money I would expect to at least have a refill of water. We had to ask multiple times for our server everytime we needed something. 6/11/09
I went there for a friends birthday party and really had a good time. You can plan on spending around twenty to thirty per plate at this restraunt. The food is beyond good and the atmosphere though noisy is wonderfully relaxing. If you drink and have dessert it will bring the total to right around fifty per person. Speaking of desserts, this place had some of the best looking cakes and torts I have seen. I had a ribeye steak for dinner with mashed potatoes that was perfect and followed this up with raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness I have NO regrets about the money I spent. It was totally worth the money.
