I like Subway a lot. I think that is why I was disappointed in this place. The first time I went in it was kind of a family affair (or looked like it) -- mother, father, teenage son. Seemed like a nice setup and the service was good -- and close to my house.
The next 3-4 times I went in there, however, it was always one or maybe two teens working behind the bar, complaining loudly about the one that hadn't shown up to work. I was fourth or fifth in line the last couple of times and decided that I didn't need to listen to this junk just to get my lunch or dinner.
I went in over several months time, attempting to give them time to fix it but finally gave up.
There's another Subway up Hwy 99W, and it generally has better and faster service, the building interior is newer, and there never seems to be a shortage of help.
And as a plus, the people who work there seem happy and helpful.
Too bad about the other one. But that's one way to take a winning franchise operation and run it into the ground. The owner(s) aren't watching out for his/her/their own interests.
