The restaurant's basic facade and location far from the city might lead you to believe that this is just another one of those local eateries with a basic functionality. But New Delhi has been around for more than a decade now in Portland, and is a firm favorite with those in the know. The husband wife duo that manage the restaurant have come up with a focused menu of Indian specialties that offer a good mix of the classic favorites with bit of their own twist here and there. Choose from an extensive menu of Indian specialties ranging from the usual suspects like the Chicken Tikka Masala to the spicy Lamb Vindaloo and the lesser known Chicken Saag. Fire up your palate with a selection of appetizers from pakoras to chaat. Try the Qeema Samosa for a different take on the humble snack. Seafood and meat specialties are well represented, as are the vegetarian delights. There's a good selection of vegan specialties as well. End your meal with a traditional dessert of Kheer or Gulab Jamun .

Is the price of the containers too much for them to afford? I don't know but, this is one who will not be returning to this establishment!!
