The popularity of this sushi bar will surely tempt you to have at least one meal here. Sinju Restaurant is quite well known among locals and tourists. The 17th Century Japanese decor in the Tatami rooms do succeed in providing the perfect first impression. Seat yourself at the Sushi bar to avail of some special Japanese delights carefully crafted by executive Chef Mitsuya Sato. Try the Nabeyake Udon or the Chicken Breast Tempura and you won't be disappointed. The rich and smooth texture of the sushi offered here will surely be the reason for your next visit.
This was a wonderful restaurant! The service was a tad slow -- so allow time if you need to be somewhere, but the food was wonderful and the selection of cocktails was a lot of fun. I would definitely go back again! You could safely give a gift certificate to this place to a friend.
This place, for all intents and purposes, offers genuine sushi! And not the high-fat americanized sushi of other places like Yoko's or the ghastly sushi buffets around the metro area. The ambience is great and the tatami rooms are excellent for larger parties (great birthday or graduation destination)..Also great for a romantic dinner getaway. Also the sake is as excellent as the food! The service is excellent. The overall experience, I would give it a five!
