Better than Wong's King without the wait!: We tried to go to Wong's King for Dim sum one Sunday morning, arrived promptly at 10:30 am and found a line at Wong's King going out the door. We drove down Division St. another few blocks and decided to give Legin a try. We were immediately seated, by 11:30 am, the dining room was pretty much filled with people. The dim sum was excellent and there was a large variety of dishes to sample. We did not find any problems with the service. I stongly recommend coming to Legin for dim sum. We plan to come back to sample their other dishes for dinner which I am sure will equal their dim sum
I have never been dissapointed by Legins. We have been going there for dim sum, dinner and carry-out for the last 5 years. We try to have something new each time we go and have accumulated quite a few favorites; Hot Clay Pot Ginger Chicken, Chicken with Garlic Aoli and Glazed Walnuts, Green Beans in Garlic Black Bean Sauce, 7 Ingredient fried rice - to name just a few. Even the steamed white rice is delicious. They don't use the broken rice I see everywhere else - alway long grain, always fresh and always good. I have always found the service to be excellent and accomodating; all in all, a pleasant dining experience.
Why not 5 stars? They don't serve Ice Tea!! (lol)
