My cousin & I happened to stay at a B&B place in Wheeler. The owners of the hotel recommended the Treasure Cafe for a great dinner. Being it would be our last night in Oregon, we decided to try them. At first when you look at it, it reminds you of a small little blue shack but don't let that fool you. As you approach it, there are tables set with white linen cloths outside and inside as well. It felt cozy and intimate and the smells that emanated from the kitchen made us salivate even more. We had a great time there and the meals were outstanding. The menu had a variety of seafood dishes to slow smoked BBQ that you wouldn't expect. I had a wondeful pan roast- various seafood in a creamy broth and my cousin had the herb crusted halibut. We both sampled each others and decided that this was the best upscale meal we had along the coast by far. If you get to the Oregon coast, hunt out this place. It's a little off the path and not seen on Hwy 101. But it's well worth it!! Just make sure you call for reservations because the place is small. Happy Eating.
