As far as hotels go, this is likely to be the best choice in Tillamook, OR. Room was clean, good Wifi, cable TV was a little limited but OK. With all the eatting choices in town, I would not eat at the hotel. I would stay here again.
Nice looking and clean. That's about all it has going for it. The waitress was also friendly and nice. We left her a large tip because we were there on Christmas Eve, having arrived in the area for our holiday celebration alone for the second time in our 38 years of marriage! (I.e., family celebration was to be the next weekend.) Anyway, the food was mediocre and there was nothing served with the entree though it was around $15. Too expensive with no side dishes, no salad, nothing. We will not eat there again, even if it is the only place open. Waste of money.
The service was good, but the steak was not good at all! Also I like to give a tip based on how I am treated and the service. I do not care for the restaurant adding it for me, and when it is as high as it was at the Shilo well, I was not happy at all. I will never go back!
