Girtle's Seafood & Steaks - http://girtles.com I cannot speak for other groups who have visited this restaraunt however, my friends and I went to celebrate a birthday and had the most amazing experience. Not only was the food mouthwatering (tender well spiced prime rib for me) and the ambiance comfortable and calming, we had the most amazing waiter. Terry was right on top of everything, including filling water glasses as soon as they were empty, dropping by to see if we needed anything but not too often ,and generally being pleasant. To put the icing on the cake he even managed to find a pair of chopsticks at my request even though that is not standard cutlery at your restaurant. He also remembered one of our party had a shellfish allergy and made sure none of her food was contaminated. At many other restaurants we have not had this happen and she has had a minor reaction because somewhere along the line something that had touched shellfish also touched her meal/dishes. We just wanted to let you know how amazing the experience was. You know have three more customers for life that will not only return, but will go well out of our way to bring others along even though we live in Hillsboro. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal!

All I can say is WOW and not in a good way. This place was gross. Looks are very misleading. DO NOT GO. Stay away. I ordered the Neptune Casserole and well it was covered in so much cheese that the outside of the bowl/cup was covered in baked on cheese. Then when you get thru the butt clogging experience you get to what looked like a broth/soup? I thought this was to be a casserole not soup. My wife ordered the dungenous crab fetachinie and the crab was rubber. I could have gone out the door 15 feet and caught a fresh dungenous and had a better meal than she got. Also the potatoes au rotten?? Another clogger. Don’t waste your time food very bad. The staff was friendly however our waiter seemed to be very nervous. Definitely a tourist trap and I am a local. Would have rather gone to Pig N' Cakes up the road 2 stores. Should have read the review first.

My friend and I wandered into Girtle's last night for drinks. We found the staff to be very friendly. We enjoyed ourselves. Our drinks were okay.

We were in Seaside last weekend during the car show, very busy, lots of fun. We had diner at Girtles Seafood & Steaks and had The Best Crab Casserole and the Kansas City Ribeye was the best I have ever eaten. You can't keep all the people happy, but you can count us in as impressed.

My wife and I recently went on vacation and were searching for a restaurant that features fine dining in Seaside, Oregon. So we searched online for a steak and seafood restaurant and found Girtle's. After we were seated we were greeted by a nice host who gave us a menu and let us know the special of the day. The menu was full of fantastic items and we found ourselves wanting to try everything! We ordered an appetizer and it was great! They also had a great wine list and we decided to try one of their red wines. Nice! It wasn't long before we recieved our dinner and let me tell you...it was great. It was the best seafood and steak we've had in a long time. I especially loved how they served the augratin potatoes in a baked dish. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a nice experience. Great atmosphere also.
