The one time we tried McMenamins, they put us all the way in the back (there was NOBODY ELSE THERE) and made us wait nearly thirty minutes just to order. We finally gave up and told our server we were leaving, when she asked why, we asked her where she'd been for half an hour and she couldn't answer. Never again.
It doesn't make sense to have a McMenamins in a strip mall. The whole point of the McMenamins experience is having dinner in a renovated old theater, hotel, or other landmark. The food is the same as any other McMenamins, which is fine, and they have all the usual delicious McMenamins beers... but that's really the only reason I'd ever go to this one. Sorry.
This is the worst McMenamins restaurant our family has ever been to. I can't even think of a word bad enough to describe the service. We've been in 3 or 4 times in the last couple years, thinking we'd give them another try. Each time we regret it.....The staff is snotty and most of them are missing a few marbles, if you know what I mean.
