Description

Established in 1879, Huber's is Portland's Oldest Restaurant. It was originally called the "Bureau Saloon". Mr. Huber was involved from the beginning as a bartender, bought out the original owner then changed the name to Huber's. In the old days if you bought a drink you got a free turkey sandwich. This is how the turkey tradition started. Today Huber's cooks 150 lbs of turkey a day. It's Thanksgiving everyday at Huber's serving a traditional turkey dinner every day. We also serve Certified Angus Beef and fresh seafood. Huber's is also known for its famous Spanish Coffee. The drink is made table-side with great fanfare. It's is a lot of fun and very tasty. Come in and enjoy Old Portland at its best.

An institution with atmosphere, personality, and history. This workingman's bar started serving turkey and dressing dinners years ago. They have grown to be a Thanksgiving every night restaurant. Good food and service, Huber's deserves a place on your bucket list.

Excellent place to eat dinner. I love the variety and the atmosphere, just a good enjoyable time. Some how when it comes to eating all times should be good!

Really, really good turkey and ham dinner. I really wasn't sure what to expect, especially when I heard that turkey was their specialty. But seriously, it was delicious. My partner's filet mignon was incredible. Drinks were stiff, as they should be. Spanish Coffee is a MUST. Really. A requirement. Worth it for the act of pouring alone. I would highly recommend a visit.

LOVE your coffee drinks. Excellent servers, night life is fun. Great place to go to unwind after a long week. My husband and I have been going to hubers for over 25 years....

It's what they're famous for and it's definitely worth the show. Huber's has been a Portland mainstay for nightlife and great atmosphere for many years.

Wonderful historic restaurant

I've taken my parents from out of town to eat here many times. You just can't beat the sense of history and wonderful ambiance they serve, along with their delicious food. Even my 11 year old daughter enjoyed it, and she can be hard to please. A wonderful place to bring out of town guests.

the bar is worth the visit

Reservations are a must, particularly during the busy times. The drinks are fabulous and you must have them prepare a Spanish Coffee tableside (they set it on fire). The food is very good, but a trip to just the bar is worth the visit.

A-Mazing!!! I went for dinner late. Happy hour starts at 9:30pm. MUST have the Spanish Coffee. And the ham and turkey dinner is exactly what I needed after a rough week. Yummy!! You must experience this place.

We sat outside and enjoyed the Turkey, their specialty. Don't miss the bar, its a landmark.
