Dooger's Seafood & Grill, Cannon Beach

We've eaten at Doogers (all three Oregon locations, but mostly Cannon Beach) dozens of times yearly. We always leave happy. The wait staff is friendly and the service excellent. As for the food, we've NEVER had a bad meal. You always have numerous options as to how you want your seafood prepared, and it is always done to perfection. (Steaks are excellent too.) Prices are some of the most reasonable you can find on the coast for a nice meal. Only the Cannon Beach Doogers has breakfasts (except in Jan and Feb). They are huge, delicious and well priced. Their winters specials (Senior day and 80's day) and Happy Hour are incredible.

The service is always amazing at whichever Dooger's we go to and the Clam Chowder is wonderful as well! :-)

Dooger's has all the components for a good restaurant but it doesn't quite come together. For the positive, the service is warm and friendly. The clam chowder is very tasty without being heavy or overthick. The seafood tastes fresh. It's a family atmosphere, noisy and boisterous but not overwhelming. It's a very popular destination. There was a wait to be seated but not as long as they had originally quoted. The waitress forgot to bring our appetizers but was genuinely apologetic. But all-in-all, when the bill arrives, you come away thinking it falls shy of the tally.
