Abby’s Pizza
RE: Manager at Woodburn, OR location
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Tim B I visited your Woodburn OR location on Sunday the 17th of July 2011. I have only lived in Woodburn for nearly two years now and have only been in your establishment about 10 times sense I have lived in Woodburn, however I grew up around the Junction City area and have enjoyed pizza at that location for nearly my whole life, and I must say that George the manger is wonderful.. On Sunday the 17th I had the worst experience in my life with Abby’s in Woodburn Oregon, I phoned in an order for a giant taco pizza I asked the gentlemen to please have the tomatoes, olives on the side not on the pizza, and I also asked if I could have jalapenos baked on the pizza. I arrived to pick up my pizza twenty minutes after I had placed the order, the nice young lady rang me up she then put my side of tomatoes, and olives in containers as I had asked, everything was fine, well then I got home and my family and I sat down to enjoy our pizza well to our surprise the pizza had olives all over it, and had tomatoes on it as well even though I had asked for this to be on the side, also the jalapenos were not baked on they also were on the side in their own container, so I called Abby’s and explained to the girl what had happened, she was very apologetic and asked if it was ok if they redo the pizza in a smaller size without the olives and tomatoes on the pizza and she said they would be sure to bake the hot peppers on this time.. So I said that would be just fine I asked her If I needed to bring back the old pizza and she said no we will just make a smaller one and to keep the giant that I ordered.. Ok so I got back in the car went to Abby’s to try this again, I get there and I am standing in line and the girl that helped me on the phone recognized me and went to the back and came out with an older man, mind you I am still in line he comes over to the counter and looks at everyone and says “WHO, YOU and points at me” I walk up to him and he proceeded in a loud voice and askes me while he is throwing his hands up where the other pizza is so he can see what they did wrong, I told him that the girl said that she was going to make a smaller one and for me to keep the other, we then rolled his eyes turned around and flips open a pizza box and says “ Well what did you want on it, I have it sitting here waiting for you” I told him that I have already told them three times now what I wanted and did not want on the pizza, he then got more irritated and shouted “Look I’m just trying to help you”… I was very embarrassed at this point and I told him that I would not talk to him anymore that I had already given the order again to the girl on the phone and that he needed to look at the ticket.. He then said “ I don’t know where the ticket is” So now I am very tired of this man’s attitude towards me and I ask if I can have the phone number to the manager or owner….. He replies and tells me that “your looking at him, I am IT” he then throws a menu on the top of my pizza and says there is your number and he walked away.. I then asked the girl for a phone number and she said she was sorry that he is always like that, well I told her that he is not going to treat me this way.. So he heard me say that and walks over again and starts raising his voice saying WHAT, WHAT DID I DO… I simply told him again that I was done talking with him. I then left and am now sending you this e-mail… That man should not be a manager at your establishment I am unsure of the girls name but I am telling you that she has what it takes to be a manager and I cannot believe that, that man is still employed..
I will be expecting a call back regarding this matter. You know there is a problem when even the employee tells me that’s just the way he is, well NO that is not ok.
