The Driftwood in Cannon Beach, OR., will be a place we will visit agin next time we are in town. All of our four meals were delicious and plenty on your plate. The baked halibut was prepared with a wonderful sauce and the fried clams were out of this world. We were seated within ten minutes of arriving and the service was friendly. This will be a must for us.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! We always go here when in Cannon Beach. It's good, hot food and lots of it. The service is friendly, they do extras when necessary. Chowder beats any hands down, steaks so tasty, favorite baked halibut, firm and the sauce is great. Old rock and roll music in the bar and lots of local color. Outside is fun for people watching and enjoying the sun.
The food was very greasy. The menu advertised that the mushroom appetizers and the Prawn main dishes were tempura, however when they arrived they were plan old deep fried. Very disappointing!! In addition they were the only restaurant on the strip that would not allow dogs on the patio.
I would not recommend this place nor will I ever eat there again.
