Spooky's Pizza, The Dalles

I work at spook s been there 5 years now. I think they have the best pizza around. m not saying that just becuase I work there.,they have great service and food and a great atmosphere. ive have my birtday there a few times and im planning to have my gradution party there.If you have an issuse were gladly sure to make it right.

Went to Spooky's last night for the first time. Really a nice place, great for the family. Service was good, but the prices were alittle high, $27 dollars for a large two topping and cheese bread (No drinks). As for the quality of the food, the pizza was sub par, but the bread sticks were good. Not sure yet if I'll go back.

We stopped by for a quick bite. The pizza we had was OK. It was a plain pepperoni. I like the sauce, it's not over seasoned. The crust was good too, it was just the ratio of sauce to toppings that killed it. I don't like it when the sauce is dripping off the pizza, and the toppings are sliding off. With that said, I know this pizza has potential and am willing to give it another try. The family next to us was inhaling sandwiches which looked amazing! I should have gotten that!! I will next time.

We love going to Spooky's. Our favorite's are the hefty henry, pizza burger, chicken caesar salad, and the chicken ranch pizza.

Absolutely the very best pizza I have ever eaten. I have been going there since the place opened in the late 60's or early 70's.. New owners a few years ago picked up the tradition left by the founders, the Tom Foley family. Hefty Henry is a classic sandwich, Canadian Bacon pizza is out of this world and the Alimo Salad is terrific... Good beers and wines, great service. Just a classic place.

We went there the first week we moved here 2 years ago. The pizza was horrible, the service below standard and what is with the lack of style in the decor? I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. That being said, my granddaughter had her 14th birthday and wanted to go to Spooky's...tried just salad and it was just okay. She decided she would rather have Domino's than Spooky's pizza (although we would all rather have Sahara's). She said she would not ask to go there again.

Spooky's pizza is an irreplaceable landmark in a small community. The restaurant itself is very old and has a long history of not only good food but good atmosphere. Everything is always very clean, well stocked and maintained. The game room is small but there are shooting, racing, and fighting games you can play with more than one person and also pinball and pacman type stuff. There is actually quite a good selection of food...Practically a dozen different beers on tap, unbeatable soups and really good salads! They have most sandwiches you can think of and a few you wouldn't but would still probably enjoy! The pizza tastes delicious and the toppings usually are very plentiful. The prices a bit higher than maybe you would expect ( dollar or two at most ), but are fair for the amount and quality of the food you receive. And if you can find an issue with the food or asked for something different, they will make what you request at their expense. The thing you have to keep in mind is this isn't a corporate giant that cuts millions of corners to give you a cheap product. This is a quality, unique, restaurant locally owned delivering a good experience. Any occasion is suitable for being at Spookys... I have had birthdays there, been on dates there, been out to eat with my folks, and of course all the times with my friends. The staff is nothing less than friendly and extremely helpful. I would encourage anyone who is looking for good food and good times to check it out.

Spooky's is awesome! I remember first eating there as a child in the 1970's. Everytime my great grandfather came to visit from Portland my entire family would have dinner there. I live in Pendleton now, but everytime I'm visiting family in The Dalles, we still meet there at least once for lunch or dinner. The service has alwasy been good, even the young students that work there provide great customer service. The restaurant is always clean, and the decor holds a special place in the hearts of locals or alumni. Yes, the pizza costs a little more than most places, but it is worth the price. The only real problem is that the lines can be so long, and you sometimes have a little wait for your food, but then again great things are worth waiting for. My personal favorite of 30 plus years - ground beef & tomato.

Try the crispy cblt and a side salad get alamio for you dressing. Best ever.
