Where's the biscuits and gravy? They have great food but there bisuits and gravy is Hamburger Bisquits and Gravy ... Not that good ... Sausage Gravy is the best!... Otherwise the omelets are great.

Been in Hillsboro for a while, this local favorite is well worth the wait! I got an omelette. Big and delicious! Hot chocolate is superb too.

The food is decent, on the greasy side. The omelette's are HUGE, 4 eggs and feed 2 easily. Their bacon waffle is amazing, truly! The hash browns are greasy and bland. The service is tepid, but they are always packed on the weekends. We continue to go there, but I end up with a stomach ache every time. Also they are not cheap.

Same as it ever was, Hales food is never surprising or inspired. It is, however, dependable. Once you go you will probably go back, not because it's so great, but because it is safe. Years ago the lounge staged a pretty entertaining scene, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Prices are not cheap and the service is barely up to par. Yet, I'll see you there probably sooner than later.

This restaurant has a very loyal following in the community. The food is reliably good and the service polite. You can get breakfast throughout the day if you wish. The coffee is above average and you usually won't have to wait for seconds. Beware weekend mornings as you might find a 15 or 20 minute wait for a table. Lots of comfort foods to keep you interested. If mom ran a restaurant... this is what she would cook. Nothing fancy... just good solid favorites.

Food is good - pretty much your standard family-style diner fare. Service is polite, but a little slow. Atmosphere is clean, standard small town restaurant. Prices seem average to a little high. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry or are impatient.
