I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about our Wal-Mart Supercenter. The customer service has ALWAYS been great, the store (even during the holidays) was clean. I am disable and in need of a power cart, my cart was dieing on me when I informed one of the staff members she had no problem dropping what she was doing and going to get me another cart, mind you I was toward the rear or the store. I felt very bad I didn't get her name. She truly went out of her way to make sure I was okay and able to get on my way.
Thank you Laura
I will Gladly continue shopping with Wal-Mart.
I encountered great customer service there. While I was being checked out the cashier was apologetic and was talking and it was nice. The store is clean and and the employees are helpful. The down fall is the long lines. I go like once a week and have not come across one single employee that is not helpful.
Come on people, it's a Wal-mart for crying out loud! The prices can't be beat on most items. Of course, you get what you pay for especially when you are buying things like furniture and stuff like that. Yes, it would be nice if we could all expect good quality customer service but WM hasn't built it's dynasty by hiring top quality employees and paying them top dollar to be nice or even helpful. My bet is that the shift managers are just happy that their folks show up to work at all. I shop at Walmart for the bargains and when I have to wait 20 minutes for a well meaning but slow as molasses checker to run my groceries through, I just figure it's the price I need to pay for the 30-45% savings on my grocery bill. Take a deep breath before you enter this super store - it's going to take some time but you'll save some money for sure. Give the staff a break - their paycheck probably doesn't cover their bills and how many of us would go to that job every day with a smile on our faces for that?
I go there only to save money on my limited income. But customer servies could be improved. As for the pharmacy..I ONLY go there because of the cost. They rarely say hello, and when I stand there waiting to drop off or pick up a script, they see me waiting, but dont acknowledge I am there, except for an occasional side glance. They know I am waiting, but AT LEAST say something like: I am sorry, I will be with you in a moment or Hi, hang on be right with you..something. I worked pharmacy retail before, and NEVER ever would I just look at a customer without acknowledging them if I was busy.
I had a sick child and needed a good thermometer. I called walmart and was put on hold over and over. It was a Friday night and by the 3rd time I called back, I basically told off the manager and said 'look, I have a very sick child and need a certain type of thermometer, and I've been on hold for nearly 20 mintues with no help'. Finally, the manager got some guy on the phone who was actually pretty helpful. He first looked in the baby dept for the item, then he double checked the pharmacy, and that's where he found what I was looking for.
Prices may be a bit cheaper at Walmart, but the money saved isn't worth the poor customer service. I was disappointed in this particular location. I found that there were not enough check-out lanes open to serve the number of customers waiting. AFTER I waited patiently while the person in front of me to unloaded a cart FULL of groceries (I mean FULL) the cashier informed me that she was closing. She saw me standing there the entire time, but didn't bother to tell me she was closing so I could go wait in another line. I decided to leave without purchasing anything. I seriously doubt I'll be back to this location.
