LA Sierra Mexican Grill, Dundee

KEEP DRIVING BY... This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had! My husband and I had our first night alone, no kids in months and we decided to order some food to eat at home but when we got home my meal was missing the main item, the tortillas so I called to let them know they had forgotten some of our order, they told me to go to the store and buy some tortilla's as they where only .99cents, and that they would not give me a refund or a percentage off my next order. I was dumbfounded, I could not believe the customer service, then he hung up on me. Needless to say we have not gone back again!!!!!!!! So the reason their parking lot is not full is not that you have beaten the rush, there is no rush, they have probably treated others the way he treated me and they don't want to go their either.

I've been to La Sierra more than a few times (the old location and the new spot next to Calamity Janes) and each time I've had pleasant, attentive service. Water, chips, and salsa are always full, orders are taken promptly, and food is brought from the kitchen just moments after coming out of the oven or off the grill. The food is reliably tasty, but not outstanding. I only wish that their margaritas were a little stronger- they tend to be on the light side. Overall, La Sierra provides good food at a comfortable price.

IT IS NOT FAIR THAT THEY CAN DELETE BAD REVIEWS!! WE HAD TAKE OUT LAST YEAR AND IT WAS THE WORST FOOD AND BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!

I dined at la sierra and i must say it was a different experience. I had the chickenstripes and fries, the chicken was good but the fries were dry. The rest of my family had this thing that you could make your own taco. It was interesting but it did look good. They took FOREVER to give us our bill. The music playing was very very interesting. The chips that they gave us were plain and the salsa was o..k. At the end of our meal they gave us this weird sherbert ice cream and pastry thing with honey and cherry sauce on it. We didn't ask for it and I did not enjoy it. It is an o...k resturant and I wouldn't go back unless I had to.

My husband and I tried La Sierra for for the 1st time a couple of months ago and now we go once a week. The food is wonderful and the staff is so friendly! On occasion they even give out a complemetary dessert which is delicious! We are always very pleased with the service, price and quality of ingreedients (the chicken in the chicken enchiladas is so good!) we will continue to be loyal customers fo as long as they are in business! I would absolutely reccomend a trip to La Sierra!
