Monteaux's Public House, Beaverton

These ratings are a total joke if Monteaux is only #6 in Beaverton. I've eaten at all the others ranked ahead of Monteaux, and not one of them is as good as Monteaux. Number 1 reason to love Monteaux is their Guinness Stout. I'm not sure why it's better than other local restaurants (e.g., Chicago Pizzeria) that also have Guinness on tap, but it is -- creamier, and more chocolatey than any other, including Kels. Number 2 reason to love them is their amazing Chorizo Burger. If I ever leave Portland, that is going to be the one food item that I miss the most. Oh man... just thinking about a Monteaux Chorizo Burger with a Guinness chaser starts my Pavlovian drooling. Other food items and service are consistently good to excellent. The prices are reasonable. The only other Westside restaurant who's even in their ballpark is Hall Street Grill, but Monteaux only costs half as much as Hall St. Check them out. You'll be glad you did.
