While I tend to agree with the review from squidderz, I'd give the place a bit more credit then that. Most of the food on the menu is fairly predictable I suppose, but the time we went there I thought the food competently prepared and delicious. Prices were fairly reasonable I thought, though the wine list had a corporate look and pricing (mark-up) to it. This is Oregon for God sake's; how about focusing on wine from this area rather then the usual suspects from California (Duckhorn, Sonoma-Cutrer, Silver Oak, etc.).
Otherwise, I enjoyed our visit to the Grill and would happily visit again. The location overlooking the lake is nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant fine. Service was somewhat amateurish I guess, but it was clear that the staff was making an effort to do a good job (bringing wrong orders to our table, bringing by a duplicate order of the guac and chips - that sort of thing).
Not the best experience I suppose, but really not bad at all. As I said, we'd happily go again.
