Description

This eatery is located in one of the finest hotels in Waikiki, Halekulani Hotel . It is a treat for the eyes and the palate. It has earned an impressive amount of awards throughout the years. Delicious cuisine is served in an outdoor garden setting a few footsteps from the beach. Executive Chef de Cuisine Jean-Pierre Maharibatcha supervises every detail in the evening, even showing up at diners' tables to enquire after their satisfaction. The island-inspired sauces he has created for the seafood menu are wonderful. All of the fish is fresh.

I love the Halekulani and love their dining options. My latest visit to Orchids was disappointing though - time for their dinner menu to have an overhaul. The bread selection was unimaginative - never a good sign for things to come. Yes, it's a fabulous setting - how could that be bettered? But it is a pity that the cuisine does not try to match the setting with a similar wow factor.

great local place to sit and relax and enjoy a drink and watch the sunset. Recommended by family and friends it has good food and good service.

Fine dining fab view

The view from this patio restaurant is beautiful. Get there just before sunset and it's amazing. Food is a bit spendy and service is okay. Clam chowder is good. Make reservations it's a must.

I have visited this fine establishment numerous times and never had anything go wrong. The food, service and decor is wonderful. I rated it as one of my finest dining experiences ever. 4 thumbs up!

One of my top 5 in Hawaii. Excellent food, service and setting with fairly priced wines in the Halekulani on the beach. Start next door at the House w/out a key for drinks and hula til sunset then move to Orchids. 2 for dinner is $100 easy but worth it all. Fish prepared here is better than almost anywhere in the islands and the setting is gravy!
