If You Want Romance....

My hubby and I have hit rough seas here lately, so when a good friend decided to treat us to dinner, we thought we'd give it a go. It had been a long time since we had been anywhere alone together. He's very wary of leaving the twins with a babysitter, as am I, to a point. At any rate, another good friend of mine offered to watch the kids, and we were off.
Sergio's in the Hilton Hawaiian Village was one of the, no THE, most romantic restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of going to. My friend asked to have one of the best tables there reserved for us. It was right by the windows, overlooking the lagoon. We got there at 6pm in time to watch the sunset on the ocean. Right before dark set in, candles were lit. The atmosphere was great. The booth we were sitting in had a very high back, so that we couldn't see any other diners. We were forced to look at each other. It was just what we needed.
The service was incredible! Our waiter was very attentive and polite. Not at all cheesy and absent-minded like the ones we usually get elsewhere. And the food. Oh my God! Everything was so delicious! My husband had a lasagna that just melted in your mouth, and I had a delectible garlic shrimp pasta that was prepared tableside.
That night, we were treated to our meal, but if I were paying, I do think I would've found Sergio's a bit pricy. But, everything considered, our night there was the most delicious, fun, romantic, and so many other adjectives ever!
