Duke's Canoe Club Waikiki, Honolulu

c'on, its Hawaii!! everything in or about Hawaii is excellent. yes, Duke's has very nice food, ambiance as well as the service. I didn't wait more the 10 min for my food! You have to get there soon if you don't want to wait outside for a table. That's the only thing wrong about it, but that means that it has a lot of people interested in Duke's good service.

We loved everything about Duke's, the restaurant and especially the Barefoot Bar. When we go to Oahu we do not stay in Waikiki. We stay out Wainae way but we make sure we go to Duke's as often as possible because we love it so much. We'll be going to Hawaii in January and February, 2008 and we can hardly wait to go to Duke's. When we know of anyone going to Waikiki we tell them to be sure to go to Duke's and they won't be disappointed. Aloha and see you soon!!

Duke's was fun. Some locals told us to go on Saturday afternoon when they have live music and lots of people. It was fun...very hot! But luckily we got a table pretty quickly since we were there early. The food was just above average and it takes a while to get used to eating in a non-airconditioned environment. But overall it was pretty good.

The atmosphere is casual class. Beach, sun and outdoor appeal combined with comfort and decor more like a 4 star steak house. The food is great value and the drinks are only made with top shelf brands. We went twice during our stay ~ once dressed business and the other brushing off sand from the beach, and in both cases the staff was great and among our best food experiences in Waikiki.

Dukes is, without a doubt, the best place to dine in Waikiki. We have been to Hawaii numerous times, and have always found Dukes to be first class. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. The staff & service has always been top notch. If you like Mai Tais, try their frozen one for a real treat. We look forward to dining here on our return in September.

I go to Hawaii every year. This spot is a must, although if you are over 85 years old, you may prefer to enjoy your home in the midwest.

Gotta go to Duke's. That's what I was told. Food was good, but atmosphere was better. Great view of the ocean. Pricey, but cool. Service was really great.

Best spot on Waikiki Beach! You have your choice of open patio connected to the beach with plenty of seating to enjoy the live Hawaiian band. Or sit at the bar and hang out with the locals and chat with the friendliest bartenders on the beach. Much aloha felt from Duke's.

Great great atmosphere...everyone's friendly and smile'n... Try the Crab and Macnut Wontons...AMAZING and the fish taco's. Lava Flow cocktail and Dig Me Daquiri's. The salad bar in the restuarant is fantastic as well. It's wonderful place.. L.

I love Dukes. I have been to Waikiki three times and each time seem to make Dukes my home! I usually get a seat at the bar and sit and enjoy the ambiance of the place. The bar food menu is limited but good value and tasty. The drinks are outstanding (my fave is the Tropical Itch) a bit pricy but who cares. Most of the bar staff are very friendly and laid back which makes for a relaxed atmosphere. All in all, I am happy to travel half way round the world to visit this great bar! I'll be back this April 07!
