You can't beat FREE KARAOKE every night of the week! The buffet is excellent when you purchase on entree. They always have some sort of coupon in the Hawaiian Weekly! Check it out. There's a Elvis looking guy every Friday night that rocks the Karaoke! Good family atmosphere, good food, strong drinks. What else do you need in HI?

Several negatives and sub par food for their breakfast buffet. Here's the list: there was a line of about 10 to pay, and register didnt ask me to validate parking so I forgot. Seat yourself, get your own drinks that were warm. The food offered was weak in flavor. Only had french toast (no pancakes) that was cold. Mango was not ripe. The dishes were constantly out and I waited twice for two seperate items, the worst buffet sin. mar 2 09

This is the only place to have breakfast in waikiki.I have yet to find another place that caould beat the variety and quality of food for $12.50 per person, children under 4, I believe pay only fraction of that.

We did the Shorebird on our last visit to Waikiki and had a fabulous meal. The cook your own feature turned out to be tooo much fun and a real experience over the hot BBQ. We look forward to going back during our next visit in March,08.

prefer a sit down dinner instead of own cooking of steak would have been nice is had the option to have someone else cook at the grill. Clothes got all smokey. But the quality of food excellent.

We enjoyed the staff the view the food etc. We have been to Hawaii 22 times in 19 years. We will always go to the Shorebird. See you Sept 2007 Wayne
