Think twice about spending at least $25.00 per head. Be patient for next door for the Old Spaghetti Factory it will be worth your money for service, quality of food and presentation. At least bread comes automatically with your seating and you dont have to be entitled for complimentary bread unless you order something from the menu. How do you like that. Kincaid's can never be compared to the forgotten Horatio's. Yes, life does change and we all must be open to all these other wonderul resturants that will offer us our money's worth. If you really like grilled fish, then, you wont get disappointed. Its not difficult to prepare fish. But, other items, please think twice before considering.
i eat out a lot...i barely cook my own meals because i'm never home. kincaid's is definitely one of my top chioces to enjoy good food, good service, and good company. their seafood, prime rib and desserts are all my favorites! happy hour is always busy, so get there early (starts from 4-7 everyday) or you may have to wait a while for a happy hour table.
in regards to the comment about the 15% tax gratuity...like i said, i eat out A LOT...and many restaurants i go to, whether la mer or kincaids, automatically adds on the 15%, usually when its a party greater than 5. i take a lot of colleagues and business partners here for lunch and dinners. you should read your receipts, as it is printed on the signed check in BOLD...and if you make a reservation, they will let you know before you can even hang up the phone that they add an automatic gratuity for your convenience.
i mean, come on...15% these days is the minimum to tip anyway. and its not like the service at kincaids is minimal...the staff is always so friendly, and most times my waiters are very attentive, and management is always so gracious!
I went in for lunch one weekend and had a very enjoyable experience. The front desk was able to seat us without reservations (two of us) and we were promptly greeted by our waitress Sheri. She recommended the Chicken Dijon and it was great. The chicken was moist (not overdone) and the dijon mustard sauce was just right and not overpowering. My partner had the Honey Peppercorn Salmon with mashed potatos. Her salmon was cooked just right and the pickled onion was a nice touch. Overall, the food was perfect. The view is overlooking the ocean and is postcard material. Our waitress Sheri was attentive and engaging. She suggested that we come back later for happy hour where the $2.99 Scratch Margarita was very popular. I would highly recommend visiting this location. Great service, Great food.
I loved it when it was Horatio's, and I love it now that it is Kincaid's. The fish is excellent--and cooked well, not overcooked. My only problem is choosing what to order! There are so many things that look so good on the menu! I always go with my friends because we don't feel rushed to leave--we gab and gab and gab!
