Ryan's Grill, Honolulu

I have noticed a definite decline in Ryan's cleanliness over the past few years. Our last visit was on Mother's Day, and we won't be going back. Over the course of our meal, I noticed a waiter openly sneeze next to a water pitcher as he went to refill glasses. Several wait staff, and the bartender ran their hands through their hair..a lot. All in plain sight of the manager and hostess who did nothing. There is no excuse for this. Ryan's management needs to do a better job of training everyone on basic sanitation. Yuck!

I went to Ryan's on a Friday night with 10 other people, and the place was packed. The Kobe beef burger tasted pretty good, and I thought 10 dollars was a fair price, but not that great. However, the appetizers were very expensive. One of the appetizer sets will take you back 9 dollars. Also, I know I said the place was crowded with customers, but the service was kind of bad. Our group couldn't get the server's attention for about 15 to 20 minutes at a time, since she avoided any eye contact with us and didn't ask us if we needed help. Also, expect to have servers trying the push pass you while getting to their destination. I went again when the place was empty and the service I got was super quick. However, I probably wouldn't go back.

If you go, you wont regret! excellent food and service! with good prices! excellent place for after hours drinks, dinner or just for hang out with friends! also is a good place to go with kids! they will enjoy as much as you will, with kids games they have there! the desserts are exquisit! In my opinion the best is the haupia creme brulee! I tried it and I loved it!

My friend and I had valentines dinner here and man was it awesome. The salad was great. Our steak melted in our mouths and the pasta was divine.

This is the FIRST restaurant my husband brought me to when I came from the Philippines, and I enjoyed it so much that I always looked forward to coming back. Fast and efficient, food comes to your table hot and fresh. The best customer service I experience thus far, and they are consistent with it. I use their practices as my examples in my Customer Service Seminars in the Philippines. It is truly a delightful experience.

we found the food and ambiance well above average, but what stood out was the excellent servers and staff at your service. both were extremely helpful in their recomendations. we look forward to our next visit.

I think Ryans has some fine cuisine and the ambience rocks. The service is not good though. They need to have more waiters attending to the occupied tables. The food is good so is the music and thrill! Just improve on your service! The quantities are good and enough for a couple to share. Money is well invested if you visit Ryans!

Ryan's is a real customer service oriented restaurant. They are always quick to correct any complaint/misunderstanding and take you business seriously. The food is great and I recommend it to anyone.

WE ordered calamari and it was completely burnt. The service took forever and each time we ordered a drink it took about fifteen minutes. The pea salad was good, but that was about it. I wanted to leave so bad, but the server took forever to bring me my bill and my change.
