Pagoda Hotel & Restaurant, Honolulu

My parents like to stay at this hotel for its good rates, good location, and decent rooms. Terrace rooms offer more variety with studios and two bedrooms w/kitchenette options. The Tower portion of the hotel is located over the Pagoda Restaurant and its koi ponds. Parking is either in the small lot immediately adjacent to the Tower elevators or in the upper levels of the parking garage shared by the Ross store across the street. There is a fee for parking which you can pay through the hotel desk.

My husband and I just went to have dinner at their floating restaurant, which by the way was an excellent buffet. Feeling stuffed, I told my husband why don't we spend the night at the Pagoda. He agreed, why not try to see if we could get a room. Well, I did stop in at the reservation desk and the clerk there was very accommodating, I got a great rate being an HGEA member. We got our room and was very pleased. It had a queen size bed, clean and very nice. We had not anticipated this spur of the moment overnighter, so we walked across the street to Ross's & Walmart for some clothes. It was fun being a tourist, even if it was only for the night. In the morning we walked over to Daiei, which is another walking distance store. It was just super to just have an affordable, clean, hotel within walking distance of so many stores, as well as being so close to Ala Moana shopping center. I'm glad we stayed at the Pagoda, now I know why so many outer island kamaainas love this hotel too, its within walking distance to everything. I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone.
