I have eaten there twice and love it. I plan on going there again for my birthday celebration. We usually go in a large party and the staff is very accomodating. I LOVE the Gorganzola eggplant dish....yum!

Kunia rewiew

My wife and I went to the Kunia store, I have to say it was one of the worst atempt at anything related to italian I have ever had. The booth we sat at was oversized and had hard seats that made just sitting distracting. The server we had was curtious but forgot my wine. The menu had very little description in what the food was. We decided on the eggplant & gargonzola pasta wich pretty much speghetti in a tasteless red sauce with very overfried eggplant slices placed on top and a few crumbles of gargonzolla on top of that. We also tried the garden salad that had wilted leafs of lettuce(obiously from ageing) and the dressing was way to tart. All in all it was bad atmosphere with horible food. Drive somewhere else it's worth the extra time in the car.

The staff was very friendly when I was there and the food was excellant however parking is a pain. Other than that I would recommend to anyone.

Very Delayed Service

The pasta tasted good and was priced reasonably. However, when I went there with my boyfriend, we had to wait a few minutes to get seated. Then we ordered and had to wait about 30-40 minutes for our food, since something went wrong with the stove. The server apologized for the inconvenience, but she still took a while to get our check. Seeing how something like this happened when it shouldn't happen, I wouldn't go back to this place.

Are you kidding me?

All the locals rave about this place. So my family and I thought we would give it a try. The place was dirty, had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and they were not busy. Plenty of empty tables. We now know why. The food was not worth the money. The food barely passes for Italian. Stay away.... far away!!!

Local Italian Favorite

This is where all the locals go for Italian food. There's ALWAYS a line outside on weekends around the corner waiting to get in. It's rather dark inside and not particularly romantic if that's what you're looking for, but it's a great place to go with a group.

NASTY!!!

I FOUND A COCKROACH IN MY FOOD!! Stay away from this nasty, dirty hole. We had to wait forever to get in. I almost ate the whole meal when i found the cockroach at the corner of my plate totally cooked in the food. Didn't even give us the food for free. Want to warn every body!

A godsend

In a wasteland of Subways & Wendy's, Auntie Pasto's Kunia branch is a welcome relief. The zingy red pepper calamari is my regular lunch, though the chicken on the ceasar salad can be on the scrawny side. The dinners are great, and the Italian wines good value. From my first visit the manager and waitstaff were attentive and friendly. This isn't 5-star, but for a quick neighborhood bistro feel, drop in. You won't be disappointed. *Prepare for a wait in the evenings.

that handsome waiter

First we were welcomed by our waiter this happy and helpful waiter named Kasey. He has spent time in Italy and knows his foods and was very educated on his wines.His service very professional. He made the wonderful Italian food and wine seem like we were in Italy. His knowledge of the local area was immense. We will definitely make this a must on each of our trips to Hawaii. Thanks, Kasey
