Gone south: I can remember when sizzler was good - about 30 years ago. Now it sucks real bad. I could say that my tastes have changed, but my kids say it sucks too. They would rather eat at home than go to Sizzler. Not a good endorsement.
Out of all the Sizzlers Restaurants. I'd rate this one as #2.
I always order the Prime. And there is always a big hunk of fat.
I enjoy the rest of the meat because it's tender and the seasoning on the exterior is good.
Not overpowering or weak.
My office had our Christmas party at the Waipahu, HI Sizzlers. I made the call to reserve the tables in beginning of November. Two weeks before and after the flyer went out, I get a call saying if I had to put money down right away to keep my reservations, (this I was not told when I had called). I do not drive because I was hurt in a car accident. I got my daughter to take me in time to keep the reservation. When I got there they said I had to have cash (this I also was not told earlier) I had my daughter take me to the bank and came back. I would not have been so up set if (A) I had been told and (B) If they had not been so rude about it. The party was set and I had little to no choice. All was going well until 6:30 pm when I was told that we had to leave at 7:00 pm, for our reservation was over. We had been good customers. The manager kept saying it’s in the contact. To tell you the truth I was so up set went I signed it that I had not notice and NO ONE say anything to me about it until a half hour before the wanted to KICK us out. I am writing this because of how I was treated. If I had been told any of these things ahead of time and been talk to like a customer that they wanted to come back, I would not had been near as up set. Thank you, Jeanne Courtney.
