Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Honolulu

Had a fantastic experience with family at Bubba Gumps on Ala Moana Blvd. We visited from New Zealand and enjoyed the food and atmosphere greatly and found it to be good value for money (greatly helped by the exchange rate of course!!) The main bonus for us was the interaction with our waitress "Sam" who was fantastic and now is traininng to work behind the bar, good luck Sam, see you next year!!

may,2011,my family or 6 went there for dinner, services and fods still as good as before, very good and the the price is fair.I notice the business is not as busy as before, may be the Japanese tours is down, anyhow I did not mind because we have better service now. Well definitely be back.

Well, this is to all the haters for the Bubba Gump restaurant in Hawaii.....why did you eat in a mall anyway? If you have back home and didn't like it why would you when you are on vacation? LOL, at least the seafood isn't contaminated. Ask a local from the island where the best place to eat is....that would have been better then you chopping down the restaurant. You ever look at the menu outside the restaurant before you go in....that's why it is up there. So, you can run if you like. LOL, Mele Kalikimaka me ka Hau'oli Makahiki Hou Aloha

Bubba's is a tourist type destination. The decor is interesting and your right on the water.

The food is terrible, and prepared with zero concern for taste. Service is intrusive and juvenile. Enjoy your vacation, don't eat here, just keep walking to one of the many better restaurants on the same street.

it was good, i just wish they had left my favorite item on the menu you used to be able to get a bucket of shrimp, corn, potatos, etc and dump it onto the table another note, the restaurant is in a mall, yuck

Food was poorly prepared and shrimp was not fresh. Works well for those under 10. Most Bubba Gumps are good, but this did not compare favorably.

Don't go

The most beautiful place. Sit outside and enjoy the Ocean View while you eat your mahi-mahi and your Shrimp. If you have saved some room, order dessert! Don't over look the Bucket-O-Trash -It is delectable and yummie. Tamara Shrimp and a menu that even caters to people that want something else other than seafood. Bring the family, cause there are toys out front near the fountain and a friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy. -Keep an eye out for the Celebrities, but try not to bother them.
