I used to go here regularly when I lived here and always return when I am back. Fabrizio is an outstanding chef and the restaurant is an authentic Italian experience. The strongola preti is a unique and delicious pasta with porcini mushorooms and spicy sausage. The carbonara and lobster raviioli are the best anywhere. Other deligths are the amatriciana and the osso bucco (when available). You need to drive or cab from Waikiki, but it is worth it.

Great food in a nondescript setting along a busy street. Parking is limited . Owner is often the chef and the food is strongly flavored and crosses many different parts of Italy. Fabrizio the owner wanders thru greeting new and old patrons alike with a think accent but always friendly.I have eaten there for 15+ years 1x or more a month and never had a bad meal.

I have only been there once. It's very difficult to find good Italian food in Hawaii.

Simple, uncomplicated Italian food. Poor espresso coffee.

The owner from Rome is very friendly and sometimes he talks too much but his food is great.
