Queen's BBQ, Honolulu

Queen's BBQ offers an extensive menu, affordable prices, and plentiful food. For example, you can get regular size fried chicken plate lunch (w/ 3 pieces of chicken thigh, a scoop of rice and scoop of macaroni salad, and cabbage) for less than $5. I can't think of any other places that have that kind of deal. So if you're around the Kakaako, Ward, and Ala Moana area, definitely check this place out. However, be prepared for a number of things if you do decide to go down there: 1) lack of parking, unless you illegally park which most people do, 2) long lines during lunchtime, 3) Queen's BBQ takes cash only, so put away your check book and credit cards, 4) short hours of operation, and 5) a couple of rude employees, especially if you're calling them by phone. If you can get around all five obstacles, then you'll definitely enjoy this little plate lunch spot.
