good stuff me and my friends had a great time. good service and it was a great fun time. recomended ++

Ambiance and service is great, food is just plain bad. Go to Assagios, Sergios, or even Bravos if you want some good Italian food. Just because they have big portions which cater to parties, doesn't mean its good. Trust me, I've been to about 4 brithday parties there, and I don't mean to be rude, but I tried everything there and wasn't impressed by one dish. Limonchello was good though and thats a shot.

I have been to several restaurants in this chain and enjoyed all of them with the exception of this one. Service was average at best and the food just was not good. Maybe I will give it one more chance but it left a bad taste in my mounth in every way possible.

Defineltly not a place for a romantic outing... but a nice fun resturant none the less.... If you have never been there before, they give you a tour through the kitchen... and there staff is fairly friendly. The food is ok... nothing to brag about, but good service and a convenient location make it a worth while trip.

The calamari was terrible! Not a good place for a romantic evening for two. You can't order your own dish and it is extremely noisy.

i love the wall decorum...and the restroom is interesting xD...however, teens shouldn't go there on their own..actually, if you don't look like you're 25 and over, or dont have someone who does w/ u...u probably shouldn't go..b/c once when my friends and i went, the service was just horrible. we had to wait over an hr for our food when the table next to u who arrived after us yet ordered almost the same things got their food first. that really pissed us off and we were planning on just leaving when our food FINALLY arrived. that was a bad experience causing a friend to be late to an appointment. we vowed never to go back. however, food is good and we had gone there many times before so we know how the food is and have gone back several times since. btw...the server's name was either steve or chris...so be forewarned if u go and ur server introduces himself as either steve or chris (pretty sure it was chris thoughs) xDDD ohhh..and price is great too...we're only students ..wells, w/ jobs...but nonetheless..it was very affordable =]] ohhh and you HAVE to try the spumoni..it was the BEST! xD..but u gotta share, like most of their other dishes ^__^

it's noisy in there and not very romantic at all. it's family style dining. they give you large portions that you are supposed to share with about 4 other people. if you do have a large group of people, dining there is a deal, with the bill around $10 a person for dinner. there is a table that seats maybe 4 to 6 in the kitchen. there's also some outside seating, but it's right below ward theaters and the wait for bucca is always like 20 minutes to an hour so there's plenty of people around. they give you crayons for the kids with a kid's menu. they also have

Huge family style servings but excellent food and service.

I've tried several italian restaurants in HI but none can compete with Buca di Beppo's food, service and food portions (they are huge). I will no longer try any other Italian restaurants and continue to go to Buca de Beppo.
