Cafe Mambo
Description
Cafe Mambo is not a large place but it certainly is popular. Located along one of the main thoroughfares in the former plantation town of Paia, this casual eatery has more than just international flair to offer. Breakfast brings fresh fruit, coffees, pancakes and bagels. During lunch, the burgers rule the menu, along with salads, tagines and fajitas. Dinner offers selections that include a seafood platter and Paella. However, the most popular orders are the picnics. Tourists gather in the morning to order up boxed lunches to enjoy at a wayside park along the road to Hana. The fresh sandwiches are the best. -Lottie Tagupa
