We have traveled to Maui every year for the past 10 years. We had always eaten at least one meal at the Fish company but never again. When we went in 2006 we got cold food and the potatoe that the waiter brought me was rottin inside. He thought it was funny and said it looked bad but decided to serve it anyway. The next year 2007 the service was worse then the year before and the food they brought was wrong and cold. Never will I eat there again.
Therea's a lot of chain restaurants in Lahaina that you want to stay away from. I think along with places like Longhi's, Fish Co. is a good spot. Everything was really fresh and they had a serious selection of fish to choose from. The ambiance was good as well. Outdoor seating right on top of the water. In terms of value, not bad for such a tourist fairway. Good local beers on tap too!
The place is really romantic and cozy. We know its a bit expensive here but we didnt know that the serving was soo small! Its just not worth it. and the taste isnt that good. I had a cold pasta. Not worth it
Great place for dinner, it was well worth the money. We had a group of 10, and they were able to accommodate our large party with prior reservations. Everyone was very pleased with the food and the service.
We had lunch here and it was so good! The view was incredible, service was attentive and prices weren't bad considering we were eating fish with a view of the water in Hawaii. We had eaten dinner here about 7-8 years ago and it was great back then too, so it was nice to come back and have a good experience.
One would think there isn't a bad seafood dish to be had in a place that's right on the water. I had the cioppino and the shrimp, clams, crab, etc. were overdone and the sauce was terrible. My wife's meal wasn't any better. Upon entering, the reservations person was rude and inconsiderate.
Forget this place.
Food and service was horrible. Food cold-and not well prepared. This restaurant was too large to be able to serve good food, kind of like trying for a good meal at a huge dinner dance!
View is great, but all of the restaurants on Front Street have great views. This was pure tourist-high price and low value. Many other better places to eat in Lahaina.
The Sea Bass I had would make you lay down and weep, I loved it. It had a lovely Hawaiian name that I can't remeber, much less pronounce. The price wasn't cheap, but I'd say overall it was worth it. The drinks were ok. The service was good, but the food was great. The Calamari was the best I've ever had, but not by much.
I had really fond memories of going here in the heart of Lahaina. I remembered trying different kinds of local fish here: Ono, Opah, and Mahi Mahi. When I went back recently I found it totally overpriced with middling service. You would think that since they specialize in fish they would be really good at it, but the ono I had was overdone and not good at all. Take a pass as I think it's pretty much just become an overcrowded tourist trap
