Over the years we've eaten at Kimo's many times. We've had everything on the menu and now when I go I always get one of the fresh fish choices! Kimo's is my favorite restaurant for fresh fish. A great restaurant with wonderful ambience that really exemplifies the Aloha Spirit!!

We were recommended this restaurant by a staff member we me while on our family vacation. This is an excellent place for superb food and amazing service. Sonny, our wait person was amazing. He gave us the specals, his recommendations, and was very patient with our questions about food preparation - since we have some food allergies that we need to be concerned with. He was also most gracious when we needed him to come back to repeat a few of the specials when we forgot them. The Ahi prepared sashimi style was DELICIOUS. The girl that served our drinks was attentive and we never had to worry about our water glasses being empty for long. The desert was to-die-for (and I'm not a desert person). We had the ice cream pie that was more than enough to satisfy the sweet tooth of 4 persons with one serving. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Hawaii.

Great service, environment, and nice views if you don't have a large party. Unfortunately, our fish was overcooked. No one in our table were impressed with the food.

My husband and I found this place on our last night in Maui, I wish we had found it earlier. The food was excellent! We had great service and great drinks. Everyone visiting Maui should try this. It was the best dinner we've ever had!

My husband and I really loved dining at Kimos. We went twice in a week. Make it there for dinner time and sit upstairs to watch an unobstructively viewed sunset. The food was great, the staff was super friendly. This was the best place we dined at in Maui.

I loved their atmosphere and their food. I had the Opakapaka Kimo style, and my wife had the Mahi-Mahi with Ginger-orange glaze and Macadamia nuts. Both were wonderful. We got a nice four-top for the two of us overlooking the beach. One strange thing was that we had to order drinks from a second waitress. Anyone who likes fish and tropical drinks will love this place. There is also a great bar out back, where you can wait before the rush upstairs for tables at 5.

If you like bad service but Old Hawaiian style this is the place for you. Their menu is basically choose an entree and get an accompanying Caesar salad. Most of the options are local fish prepared one of several ways, prime rib, steak, or shrimp. I found the entrees to be pretty mediocre they couple of times I went here. Even the fish, which I expect to be well be prepared at a fish specialty place were mediocre. Don't get sucked in here, there are way better places within walking distance and I would recommend those over Kimo's anytime. One thing it does have going for it is that the portions are absolutely huge and they serve good muffins instead of bread.

The ambiance is very nice and has a fun atmosphere. the wait help is very friendly and professional. Kimo's is located right on the beach and the view of neighbor islands Lanai and Molokai is spectacular. The food is Pacific/Americana and is wonderful. Although it can be a bit noisey at times.
