Description

Located in the center of the Kihei Kalama Village, this small cafe offers a simple and pleasant setting and an inexpensive Mediterranean menu filled with tasty items. The pitas come several ways, and all include tzatziki sauce and rice pilaf. Some of the more creative are the chicken teriyaki and kalua pork pita. The selection of salads are tempting for lunch in the warm Maui weather. The salads all have kalamata olives and feta cheese. Add lamb, steak or chicken to make it even more delicious. There are several styles of kabab plates that come with sauteed veggies and rice pilaf, and a kids menu as well. Parking is tight, so bring your patience along with your appetite. - Lottie Tagupa

Pita Paradise Kihel Kalama Village

The Wailea Pita Paradise charged me $11 for a vegan version falafel pita when the menu clearly says $9. The rice pilaf has dead chicken in it so you have to get potatos or salad instead. Should forgoing the cheese make the price go up? The dressing has dairy so you have to ask for tahini.

Amazing

You know, it's kind of hard to find but it's an awesome place, laid back location... there's a deck outside to sit on that was awesome and the food's great so is the service... didn't expect to find mediterranean food in Hawai'i and definately didn't expect it to be this good... i'm glad the owner's family member also has a restaurant in Dallas that I can go visit as I am there often

Pita-less Paradise in Kihei

Dinner was very bad and over priced. I ended up having Italian (Chicken Parm) and Chicken Caesar salad (15.00 salad and very very small) because SURPRISE there are no Pita Bread items for dinner in 'Pita Paradise'. To sum it up I would stay away from dinner and Mediterranean restaurants should not try and serve Italian food.

The fish is so wonderful and fresh (caught by the owner himself), and we eat there 4 times a week. Its the first place we go when we arrive for a month.

A must try!

This restaurant was great. My wife and I stayed at the Kea Lani hotel in Wailea and made the mistake of eating there (while the food was very good, the prices were outrageous). We lucked out in going to Pita Paradise. The food was outstanding and the prices were HALF of what the Kea Lani restaurant was. Very quaint and relaxing. The owner cooked our meals and the service was spot on. No attitude here. Very nice staff. Ahi was the freshest we found all week. I hope this place stays around for many years.

A favorite spot for casual outdoor dining

If you want delicious, relatively healthy, and not expensive food served on a lovely deck beneath trees for welcome shade, this is the spot. Located in the turquoise roofed Kalama shop area, it's a pleasant place to try a hearty stuffed pita or, one of my favorites, the light pita pizza appetizer. At lunch you have to order inside and get your own drinks. They have high chairs.

Cute, friendly and TASTY!

This is a small, quaint restaurant with nice outdoor seating. EXCELLENT food. Fresh fish caught daily by the owner. Chef's Fish Special each night. My husband and my favorite restaurant on the island. Try the Baklava Ice Cream Cake for dessert. AWESOME!

its got a charming relazed atmosphere..

the foods great, the people are great and it s close to all the nightlife ...so you can enjot a meal at a resonable price an then just a foots stroll away are all the pubs and stalls...perfect.

I loved it!

The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly. It is in the Kihei Kalama Village and is across the street from the beach. There are lots of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The food is fast, fresh and good value for your dollar. It is a pleasant stop when you have been wandering the shopping stalls all morning.
