We just finished dinner at this delightful place, and we all agree that the fish we had tonight is the best we have had in Kauai this week. The mahi with a ginger crust and wasabi sauce was moist and fantastic. I'd never had ahi blackened because I like my fish uncluttered with spices; however, after tonight I've been converted. The Yahoo site rates the Lighthouse Bistro 5 stars and they deserve them. Make sure you sneak a treat to ili, the roaming house dog.

Living here on the Island and running a Bed and Breakfast gives me the opportunity to refer all my guests to this lovely quaint eatery. The food superb, service excels on an island that doesn't have good food service anywhere, and the romantic atmosphere delights the couple out for a date or friends just traveling together. Live music that doesn't intrude on your evening is a bonus and makes your entire evening special. A 'not to be missed' in this locals opinion.
