If you're open to some great American food at America's Diner, we're open for you. Come and see us for your fill of, well, whatever it is you're in the mood for. Fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, a juicy burger or something from our Fit Fare(R) Menu - you'll always find delicious value and variety at Denny's. And like any good diner, the coffee is always brewing.
Took the wife to get a birthday breakfast before she had to work at 11:30. Kind of a treat for us as we are semi retired and on a strict budget.
We arrived on a Saturday at 10:15 a.m. Got seated quickly as it wasn't crowded at all. Got a coffee pretty quick from an interim person. Didn't see our real waitress for ten more minutes (she said she was busy training).
10:25 Verified my wife could get the complimentary breakfast, then we ordered.
Then we waited for 35 more minutes.
At 11:00 we still hadn't seen any food (two orders of scrambled eggs, some bacon, sausage, English muffin and pancakes).
We did see someone get a bunch of plates near us - with a follow-up plate about 5 minutes later (oops, must have forgotten something).
We also saw the three man kitchen crew and manager kinda standing around - certainly not flipping eggs.
We realized after the elapsed 45 minutes that, even if the food showed up immediately we would not have time to eat (let alone actually enjoy the meal) - so we left.
My wife went to work hungry on her birthday. Great celebration for us.
Thanks, Dennys, I'll never forget that breakfast.

I went to Dennys this evening as I always do with my husband we always go on Friday. But this evening we got up and left, after being there about 15 minutes we were never service, not even with water. The restaurant wasn't even busy, during the waiting time one of your employees was talking with some customer right behind us all about her personal life, with no acknowledgment to us that had been waiting for service. There was a manager who I believe gave us eye contact but didn't even notice we hadn't even been given water. In the Big Island of Hawaii Dennys is the only restaurant open late so we always go there as we like the food. But please you need to better your customer service, this has happen before but we waited. I know about customer service as I've been working for the Hotel system for 6 years am an accounting manager. I've travel a lot to Chicago which is my home town, also Florida, New York, and Puerto Rico, and I always look for a Dennys for breakfasts as I can eat breakfast anytime of day. Always go with family and friend, but really the service here in Hawaii needs to get better. Bad experiences go a long way and are told more then the good ones.
I thank you in advance for all you can do in this matter
