Drums of the Pacific Lu'Au- Hyatt Regency Maui, Lahaina

Went to this luau because it was walking distance from our hotel. We had a great time. The food was awesome. I did not want to try the pork, but I did and it melted in my mouth. The entertainment was great as well. The drinks aren't super great, but the food was.

There a lots of luaus that you can attend while on Maui, but this one was great! The Hyatt built an outdoor stage for their show with plentiful seating and good views of the performance no matter where you land. The event is very organized with six serving lines so the entire crowd is able to serve themselves from the buffet in short order. Servers are quick to get drinks out to patrons which are included with the price of admission (yes... that includes Mai Tai's). The show is spectacular with the hula dancers and fire dancer. Made for a great evening and definitely worth the price paid.

WE've been to this luau twice. Been to a couple others as well, but nothing compared with Drums of Pacific. If you are looking for great entertainment, with the ideal of what a luau should be, then spend the money and enjoy the evening. Food is good, and enjoyable for the whole family.
