Great location but service is rude and slow. They forget your order, get it wrong and don t come back to check on your drink or offer refills. Too bad because the food is pretty good, overpriced, but if you are here on vacation it is not like you are going to eat there more than once. For us locals it is too bad they give such bad service. I won t be going back for a long time.
This is a great place to either have decent food for reasonable price on a tourist street or just hangout people watch while having a cup of coffee. You walk up to order food and drinks at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. Sitting outside gives a great view of the ocean and the boats cruising by, as well as hustle bustle of the tourists and cars. Fish taco plate is just over $10, and fresh catch of the day dinner plate is $15. THE only place that serves Kona coffee all day long, as told by Starbucks employee (Starbucks only serves Kona coffee in the morning; I don't know why); and the coffee is excellent! If you're staring at the row of cafes and restaurants and can't decide, don't forget to look for Lava Java!
