South Shore Tiki Lounge, Kihei

i love the tiki lounge. good mix of locals and tourist, strong drinks and great pizzas. ive never had anything less than exceptional service, but then i usually sit at the bar. renie, scott, jake and sarah are the bomb, all of them have won best bartender on maui at some point (or runner up for jake), not a bad group of people to have behind a bar. as far as the dj's: some are certainly better than others, but they all are professional and to be a doosh and try to insult them is pretty lame. the monday guy is actually pretty sweet and the weekends are jam packed, so i guess someone likes what they are spinning.

The only place on South Maui that I know of where a bouncer and customer gets nabbed by the DEA at different times. Uncomofortable seating and unattentive-unfriendly service. I've had to dodge a bottle thrown by a patron here (not meant for me). If you enjoy listening to amateur dj's (not paid--nor should they be), and a dance floor that is 5' x 5' (gotta be the smallest dance floor on record)...come to the South Shore Tike Lounge.

I like their pizza quite a bit. The bloody mary's though, skip em!!
