Isana Restaurant, Kihei

The best place for Real Sushi on the island of Maui, Hands down. It is also open late at night. its pretty much the only place on maui that is. We only go for the sushi, but I'll tell you, as a Maui Resident, Isana is the BEST place to go if you want Sushi. There is also an isolated upstairs karaoke bar. It is located across the street from the ocean on S Kihei Road in North Kihei. We are going there tonight and I can't wait! Aloha

Love, love, love this restaurant! Their Korean dishes are simply fantastic, particularly the kalbi. Be sure to get romaine lettuce and bean paste with your grilled meats. Cooking at the table is lots of fun and a god way to entertain guests. We don't order a lot of sushi here but the uni is awesome and so is the poke!

This is a fine restaurant that serves many common Korean dishes and also raw fish / raw meat dishes. Spacious and stylish interior will delight your gourmet experience. The restaurant has a small sushi bar and also private banquet rooms for special reserved guests. The food is well made from fresh fish and vegetables. My favorite dish is Mixed Rice Bowl with raw fish and vegetables. You mix it with red pepper paste and it's very delicious. This one is relatively cheap. But if you order Sushi rolls and a few soju, your bill will come high. Overall, you will enjoy satisfying food for the hefty bucks you pay.

I'm sorry. This is a KOREAN yakiniku restaurant that has been a main-stay of locals for YEARS here in South Maui. It also happens to have a sushi bar. The sushi bar is hit or miss...as they are in most of Maui...in general...but it is not bad. I HIGHLY recommend table grilled meats...or ordering directly off the menu for table service. The sushi is half off after certain hours...weekendish.
