Gazebo Restaurant, Lahaina

This open air restaurant is located close to the water. I would be reluctant to call it a beach, it is more of a rocky coastline but it makes for stunning views as the waves crash on the rocks. The Gazebo is only open for breakfast and lunch . The breakfast was excelent but lunch was only mediocre. Come early, as other reviewers mentioned, there can be very long lines.

I loved the Gazebo. Although there's usually a really long line during breakfast/lunch it's worth it. The portions are HUGE! My family and I order different things and share a little! Great during whale season because it sits near the water! [: Enjoy. Usually When my family and I are done eating, We'll leave so that other people can get into the restaurant. It's very small. Staff very friendly.

My first trip to the Gazebo was when I was 14 and 11 years later it was just as good as I remembered. After backpacking through Kauai, it was like coming home to stay at Napili and eat at the Gazebo. Earlier the better to enjoy the morning sun.

Honestly the best breakfast I've ever had! Worth the money, the wait and the drive! Beautiful views, but best of all the omelets and banana mac nut pancakes are amazing!

Breakfast food was quite good. We arrived shortly after opening on a Friday. There was already a long line. Not a lot of seating, but it is in a nice location overlooking the bay. If you wait until 8:00am you can get takeout and eat outside next to the restaurant overlooking the ocean. A lot faster. It is easy to miss the sign for the restaurant from the main road. It is also not obvious where you should park. Just drive down one of the side parking lots, park, and walk towards the ocean. Can't miss it. Overall a very nice experience. We would go back.

We happen to hear about this cute little place from friends and it was worth the wait. Don't let the line discourage you. Get there early and just enjoy the view. The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Don't go away without trying the mixed stack of banana, pineapple and macadamia pancakes. Come hungry. We could have eaten here everyday -- Yummy to my tummy!

What a find. One of fellow travelers told us to go and it was great. Be prepared for a 30 minute wait, no matter what time you go, but it is worth it. If you go and don't get the banana macadamia nut pancakes you are missing the boat. The view is really great too.

I actually found this place reading reviews here, and it was less than two miles where i was staying... All the reviews are spot on... Small place, more like a diner, but the food and service are top notch...

Despite the unlikely location, the Gazebo offers a great value with great service on the island. Don't be scared off by postings of long waits. The sausage patties are delicious and expect generous helpings of eggs (served any style) and of course the pancakes are amazing. They are open til 2 p.m. and are more than happy to serve your breakfast no matter what time you crawl out of your island slumber. Make it a day and you can visit the great snorkel beach right next door for families with small kids.

My wife and I went to Maui last June. We stayed at Napili Kai in Napili Bay where this place is. We walked there each morning for breakfast. Everything from the island style white right and gravy to the best pancakes you'll ever taste, this place is fantastic. I suggest this to anyone staying on the north shore. I'll go back to Maui just to eat their pancakes!
