Description

The popular Bubba Gump seafood chain is oddly suited to Lahaina, somehow. It is centrally located and offers a market and gift shop as well as a dining room overlooking the water. This is a family-style restaurant with a theme, but the seafood is consistently good and prices are reasonable. The staff is cheery and brightjust like the decor, especially in the daytime. Try the Shrimper's Net Catch appetizer: 3/4 pound of shrimp, steamed in beer and flavored with either Cajun Spice or Garlic Spice.

Typical Bubba Gump

Had to go here when I got off the plane, hadn't ate anything all day. Feels pretty silly to eat in an American chain while in Hawaii. Especially this one!

I wasnt impressed

I love shrimp and I was expecting a lot of good shrimp recipes for a great price. They had a few recipes. We ended up trying lemon pepper shrimp on rice or something like that. I thought it was ok but my baby was not impressed. The drinks were good but not strong.

The Best location

We loved the location. On the ocean as opposed to the one on Oahu which is in a mall. The ambience was great, especially at night. You need to book or get there early. It's very popular. Overall, a cool place to visit.

Good food, TERRIBLE MAI TAI'S.

We ate here twice during our week in Maui. The food was great, however, this place might have sold us the worst Mai Tai's we had the whole time we were on the island. Other than that, this place was great, and I would go back there and eat again. PS, the key lime pie is GREAT!!!

Not worth the money!

We visited Maui in October and heard Bubba Gump's was a fun place to eat. The atmosphere was alright, but the food was terrible, small portions, and overpriced. Drinks were terrible & service was slow! Will never go back!

THIS WAS A FUN PLACE TO EAT. GREAT AMBIANCE FOR A FUN EVENING. A PLACE TO GO IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPEND A FORTUNE FOR A MEAL. WE HAD TWO SMALL CHILDREN WITH US AND THEY BOTH ATE WONDERFUL THERE. GREAT FOR LARGE GROUPS. YUMMY AND FUN!

Great place...friendly environment...great shrimp...nice place to have a cocktail and watch the sunset...just love the whole experience...will go there every chance I have.....LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone would love it.

What a view!

The view is actually on the ocean. Incredible. The food is great but pricey. It is definately worth the wait. Usually about an hour. But with the view, who cares!!!

Such a Wonderful Place

Bubba Gump Shrimp Company was the first restaurant my family and I ate at when we arrived in Maui. It was tons of fun for all of us, and the food was wonderful. I would definatly send all my friends and family to eat there. Oh, and if your over 21, the drinks are also wonderful and worth every penny you pay for them. Have fune and enjoy the food
