Real food is served here in addition to mochas and other upscale cafe favorites. This casual spot is a pleasant cross between an espresso bar and restaurant. It caters to a mixed clientele, and the morning menu includes everything from espresso and fresh-baked pastry (a house specialty) to omelets. Local influences are visible in some of the options, while more healthy California cuisine is also available. Lunch entrees can be as simple as a burger and fries or as complicated as a Pan-Asian seafood creation.
look i work here and honestly if you didnt like it then go to taco bell! we work hard back there, and the food is awsome, big portions fills up any big guy. you are in hawaii at a locally owned restaurant...locally not the hyatt or hilton, good local attitude, we put aloha into your meal.
Let me start with saying that the waitress was very sweet and accomodating. I am allergic to gluten and she took my order with corn tortillas instead of wheat. Somewhere the order went wrong and as someone who was either the manager or owner stopped by to see how things were as our food was delivered I brought up the minor mishap. He forcefully sighed at my request for a correction and rolled his eyes as he walked away. He transfered the food from wheat to corn tortillas and dropped it back on the table a moment later. I told him I am sorry for being difficult, but my reaction would still trigger from the wheat leftover in the transfer to which he made his annoyance with me as visibly known as possible. The peacemaker in me offered to pick another item if it was easier. At which time he let out an angry huff, picked up the plate with one last eye roll and stomped away to the kitchen sending a waitress over with a menu and noticably avoided acknowledging our table the rest of the evening. If you have any special accomodations or would prefer not to be treated poorly by management I would recommend avoiding Olympic all together.
Food is some times ok...Service is horrible!!!
I had the tuna and it tasted very metally not like any tuna I 've ever had....I sent it back and asked if i was normally like that or is the fish went bad. The owner...short, causcasian man with black hair told me that yes, that's how its suppose to taste. And that I didn't know good tuna...Needless to say...I payed the bill and in 4 years, Ive gone back once because no where else was serving at 8:45 PM...
Worst burger we've ever had and the ketchup was very obviously watered down to make sure it stretched which makes me question what other shortcuts they're taking in the back. (The burger tasted really strange and we didn't eat even half of it and left)
THE FOOD IS USUALLY GREAT/PRICES, BUT TONIGHT THE FEJITAS WERE TERRIBLE!!NO FLAVOR, BEANS TASTED LIKE MOLD, OLD/DRIED TORTILLAS, QUCAMOLE TASTED SOUR? PAID $25. FOR MYSELF AND THREW THE MEAL OUT AFTER TWO BITES. NO ENERGY WENT INTO THIS MEAL SO, WHO IS IN THE KITCHEN???? YUCKKKK MEAL I WIL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT THE MEAL.
The chicken caeser salad is Good! They give you a lot so come hungry. The
Chicken caeser wrap is also a Good choice, the croutons are tasty.
For appetizer try the hummus, I've been hooked ever since.
The only thing I didn't like was the penne pesto in olive oil. The pesto is like
a thick paste from the tube or something but i couldn't even eat the dinner.
Other than that it's a cool place with an all around casual atmosphere.
