Jameson's by the Sea, Haleiwa

OMG, how can anyone put down Jameson's by the Sea!!! I have eaten there yearly for 11 years on our trip around the Island and 2 of us always seem to get stuck on the Mango Chutney Tuna salad and at least one margarita ... ONO! (good in Hawaiian) -- my other friend gets anything that she feels like at the moment and it has been nothing but superb. Maybe it was the attitude people had -- when in Hawaii do as the locals do -- relax and enjoy the view and the great food.

Ok so we are new to the Island and we thought this place would be good because it seemed a little busy! We were so wrong!!! Overpriced food, bad and slow service. I ordered a $17 Chicken Ceasar Salad and was extremely disappointed. The chicken you could tell was previously frozen and then warmed up on a grill. The salad was dry. I ordered a cheeseburger for my son and they forgot the cheese and the burger was just a slab of ground beef grilled extra well done! It took forever for service we had to get another waiter to refill our drinks and waited 15 mins to pay and get out of there! We will not return and do not recommend anyone go there.

We stopped at Jameson's on the advice of a friend. We weren't disappointed! Good food..good service...fantastic view! We can't wait for our next visit.

This was by far the worst restaraunt I have ever been to. The food was worth about as much as a value meal at Mcdonalds but cost six times as much. The food was not fresh and had no flavor. I had the breaded Mahi Mahi with the Mac nuts and it was soggy and gross. I love fish and have had better fish at Papa Oles which cost 7 dollars. My plate cost 30 dollars at Jameson's.

The dinner was superb. The service was excellent. The sunset was beautiful. Even worth the extra hour drive we had to take to get there after the rock slide at Waimea. The macademia nut crusted mahi mahi is amazing.

We stumbled onto Jameson's on our honeymoon for dinner. There was a long wait, but it was worth it! We got a table on the patio with a beautiful view! The macadmia encrusted mahi mahi is what still has us talking. I have had mahi mahi in many places, but theirs was the best! I would love to go to this restaurant again if I get the chance someday.

Great place! Best place we have found in over 6 trips to the island!

The food was delicious, I had the mac nut crusted ahi. The view was beautiful, we sat outside with a lovely view of the ocean. It was kind of crowded and I feel we would have had better service if the waitress wasn't so busy. It was a little pricy, but I would return if I saw it wasn't so busy.

I liked nothing about this plac at all. The foood as terrible. When you asked me what the cons were I should have said the whole rtaurant was one
