My sister wanted to try a Loco moco after seeing it on the travel channel so we thought the Loco Moco Special was what we wanted turned out she got some rice, deeply fired chicken piece (or better yet chicken fat) of fried Mahi fish and a slice of steak I had a double hamburger burger were great the special was nasty and hard we will not be returning to this resturant.

We heard about the loco moco and the porter told us to try the one out in kapolei. My wife and kids loved it and that gravy was soooo savory! Just a type of place where you order, pick up your food and eat. Nothing special though but prices are very good when we compared it to the other eating places. Before we flew out, we drove back to eat one final loco moco! Strange, but the cashier told us they're garlic/mochiko chicken was more popular. So, we ordered a plate on the go and ended up eating it at the airport. The chicken was also tasty. We'll be back next year for our friend's wedding so...hey, anyone know of any good locomoco in Phoenix?

Every now and then my family go out to eat. We ate a Loco Moco in Waipahu, the food was okay, then a friend told us to try the one in Kapolei next time we go out there. Well before leaving the shopping center after taking pictures with santa on Saturday, we stopped in. The staff was very sweet and sincere. We asked what would she recommend. She said that the garlic chicken and the mochiko was the most popular, so we tried both. I have to say that they were right. I have never had such moist garlic chicken before, it was the best. So anyone out there, stop by at Loco Moco in Kapolei again Kapolei, and have their garlic chick/mochiko, its the bomb....
